"Coffee Class"

The April Fools Coffee Class was foolish! The joke was on me. With at least 10 e-mail confirmed students only 3 showed up! April Fools!
It was still a really good time. Dave Moore of Natural World Bakery brought some of his amazing baked goods. (The best and most addictive butter cookies! Available at Morgan and York, Formally Big Ten Party Store Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays)
In addition to demonstrating the performance and handling of my fine coffee roaster, we talked coffee history, drank cup after cup of Roos Roast and proved that over roasting kills the flavor. (I had some accidentally over roasted a batch of coffee on Friday night and after tasting an Organic Mexican Chiapas, followed by an Organic Sumatra, we tried a pot of this really dark roast. It was unanimous all f the golden flavor and nuances of the beans earthy goodness were gone. It tasted like burnt water. I look forward to schooling you.
