"I’ve got a few minutes, I’m feeling unrushed and I wanted to"

I used to be a huge writer of letters. I would write people and say hello. Remember letters? I looked so forward to writing letter, at a café table, sitting with a view, and a breeze and a cup of coffee. I even used a fountain pen. There was time then. The coffee is better now but time short. How things have changed though. Now I write and it goes live to millions of possibilities! I just put it out there and click publish and it’s on! This letter is to not let another day to pass without mentioning the passing of my mentor in roasting Alfred Peet. He was 87 and died at his home in Ashland,Oregon on August 29th.

Thank you, Mr.Peet for turning us on to extraordinary coffee.
