Because of the over all mind expanding qualities of Roos Roast and the fact that I can't seem to drink enough I have been over flowing with ideas and things to do. Here is what I'm thinking of; I'm working on a Food Based website in an effort to promote great local restaurants and curb my enthusiasm for the kitchen. I spent 20 years as a restaurant consultant working with and for some of the greatest food people in the business in cool places all over the globe. Since I moved back to Michigan and started Roos Roast I have been missing the full hospitality of serving people simple, clean, fun, happy food. I keep thinking that I want to open a cafe featuring great addictive dishes I learned during my fancy travels. But everything about the business is expensive and so is great food. (I'm thinking outloud right now) You don't need any licence or permits to simply write so that is how I got on to the this idea of a web site with videos and pictures about the great cooking and eating going on already here in town! I want to promote and help the places already here and see what comes out of that. I know there are probably a million sites like this already but I'm still game and playing around with names like "Sushi Buzz Buzz!" Or "Strategic Diner" It's all an idea right now but I'm goiing to using this blog to brain storm and prod Ian to help me make this thing happen. The next time you're making a pot of Roos Roast grind the beans and put all the grounds in the french press, or coffee filter, or porta-filter, or whatever type of brewing system happen to be using. Then count out 20 more beans. That's right 20 more beans and grind them up and put them in the filter and make some coffee.
We're going to call that 20 extra beans the Surge! I don't know if that will really do anything but that doesn't matter because it's more about the word and the word is the Surge! 20 more beans of augmentation and you will be Surging. Get Augmented!
Once you start drinking roosroast you will be thinking outside the box. You'll be breakin down the boxes, recycling them, making more $, paying off loans, going to work with a smile on your face and turning others on to this new inside edge you have known as Roos Roast! Just Smell it! That's right you'll be working the room, creating the space, exploring the spaces and living like you never knew was possible.
Come on people call me up and order some Roos Roast today!

If you are at the Michigan Theater during the 44th Annual Ann Arbor Film Festival March 20th thru 25th 2007 (The oldest Independent Film Festival in the country) you will be drinking Roos Roast on the house!
My coffee company will also be making a generous cash contribution to help support this great event.
