Lazy Sunday - Sunday, August 27th
Squirrels crawling down trees, chain smokers and damp carpets on the porch of web designers. Best of all we have Roos Roast Mexican Chaipas Fair Trade organic (oh so smooth and nicely caffeinated)driving the mind ride while cars wisk by carrying rain water in their tire treads. Swoosh. It's nice to sit outside and relax at summers end on a rainy Sunday morning before the long awaited onslaught of beautiful University of Michigan college students (Tuesday thru Friday move-in) Yes, we want more Roosroast Coffee and we can have it while relaxing and writing posts because we have no cafe location to baby sit. It's all on the world wide web or down at the Last Bohemian Adventure.

The Perfect Blend: Great Coffee & Great People - Saturday, August 26th
The August 20 coffee class was a HUGE success. Went off without a hitch. White linen, great coffee, and fresh hot muffins. The best part was the excellent blend of people.
So many great ideas come out of the coffee classes. There's another class October 22, where we will be checking out the Harvest Blend, and a dark, dark, spooky roast (with special attention to espresso) and a possible guest appearance by photographer and Espresso Chef Aaron K.
Also, a big welcome to the Dana Point California Coffees: Mary, Rich, Riley, and Ella (le Duke) who'll be vacationing in Michigan this week.

Ann Arbor Famous - Saturday, August 26th
John was pretty surprised (and pleased) to find himself on the cover of the Ann Arbor Observer's 2006 City Guide (see the Press page). All that time smiling, serving up a cup, and roasting beans at the barn is paying off! See you on the cover of the NYT mag, John!
