Colombia Loma Verde Chiroso
This incredibly complex natural coffee comes from the Echavarria Family at Finca Loma Verde in Colombia! This coffee is dessert for breakfast; fruits, chocolate, and nuts in perfect harmony make a delightful tune.
At Finca Loma Verde the coffee is selectively hand-harvested, then brought to the highest part of the road using a cable car. Here at this high altitude the coffee is naturally processed by being placed on raised beds under shade then moved into the sun to dry for a second drying period. This creates the perfect environment for the most amazing flavors to develop.
Mild acidity and light body for an easy-drinking experience. Cup attributes also include well rounded and a complex flavor profile.
Finca Loma Verde has incredible steps to ensure quality flavor, while also taking great care of their employees! They employee 60 people year round who earn 30% above minimum wage. Many who receive free housing within the farm for themselves and their families. A scholarship and financial aid program has been established for worker’s children as well as helping long-standing employees to acquire their own piece of land upon retirement. Sharing the love! Thats what we love to support.
